Gordon, Gino and Fred’s show inspires Dorset Wine Festival
7th May 2024
Inspired by Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip show, the Dorset Wine Festival announced the release of a special documentary.
The first Dorset Wine Festival will take place on 5th and 6th October at Highcliffe Castle and will see over 50 wine exhibitors.
The event founder, Simone Ippolito, said that the festival aims to support local businesses as well as promote the area nationally and abroad.
Celebrating greats of the area
While talking to the Daily Echo, he added: “With Dorset Wine Festival, I want to create something that is very unique, very much about all of the greats that our area has to offer and trying to showcase to the rest of the UK, perhaps even to the rest of the world, what we have to offer.
“We’re trying to create something that has got a very fun and upbeat vibe, and it will be created on the notes of the Gino D’Acampo, Fred [Sirieix] and Gordon Ramsay type of series.”
The documentary will be released in episodes on the festival’s social media before the event and then uploaded in full afterwards.
Wine and business
Mr Ippolito added: “We’re going to go through local vineyards and showcase all of the great local wineries that we have around us that perhaps a lot of people are not aware of.
“Between each episode of the vineyards, we will do an episode about one of our main sponsors and partners of the festival.
“So, yes, it’s wine, but it’s also business. It’s about some of the great business minds that we have in Dorset.”
