GALLERY: About 100 exhibitors presented latest innovations during Fruit Focus 2024

The UK fruit industry leaders and growers had a chance to meet, talk about the latest innovations and exchange ideas during the Fruit Focus 2024.
The event took place at NIAB East Malling on 10th July, featurng about 100 exhibitors from around the country and beyond.
During a number of seminars, participants learned about , among others, innovative strawberry cultivation, crop protection and AI vine monitoring solution.
The speakers covered technical topics including breeding, pollination, integrated pest management, biological control and drone spraying.
Latest innovations for fruit growers
The organisers said that Fruit Focus’ mission is to be the leading event covering UK fruit growers’ informational needs.
During this year’s event, the attendees had a chance to talk to the exhibitors, take part in a range of NFU Fruit Forum seminars and join NIAB research tours.
NIAB invited the attendees to its WET Centre, where a number of researchers try latest technologies for the precision production of strawberries and raspberries.
Fruit Focus organisers added: “At Fruit Focus, the exhibition stands are the main event.
